Free means genuinely usable.
Free sessions do not need a Sidle account or server identity. Pick a companion style, enter a task, and start a silent body-doubling session locally. The timer, optional Live Activity, and local Moments remain available without paying.
Pro adds local support first.
The v1.3 candidate adds a private “For next time” move, an in-app hello, optional on-device voice, and an optional background notification. Those features run locally and continue even when provider AI is unavailable. The Return Bridge is saved only on this phone and is not sent to the provider.
Current production status: the provider path passed silent-mode, live-response, landing, and proof-bound-deletion checks on 14 July 2026 and is enabled. It can still fall back to silence for consent, safety, network, provider, allowance, or service-ceiling reasons. Local Pro and the free loop continue.
The separate optional AI path is for adults 18 or older. It requires explicit adult confirmation and consent to DeepSeek processing in China, including a warning not to enter sensitive data. Requests that do not carry the current consent version stay silent. DeepSeek's public terms do not give Sidle a provider-side no-training or fixed-retention promise.
A companion, with honest boundaries.
- Provider-backed AI is restricted to adults 18 or older and requires the current China and sensitive-data disclosure. The local loop does not send task text to DeepSeek.
- The free loop has no account. A connected v1.3 provider profile is anonymous and scoped to one device, not a cross-device login.
- Sidle does not provide therapy, diagnosis, treatment, professional advice, or emergency support.
- No advertising SDK, cross-app tracking, or social feed.

Apple shows the exact offer before you pay.
Sidle offers monthly, annual, and lifetime Pro options. Storefront prices, billing periods, trial eligibility, renewal terms, and taxes vary; the live Apple purchase sheet is the controlling offer. Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled through Apple.

- Lifetime: US$0.90 of metered DeepSeek processing per UTC month.
- Eligible trial: US$1.00 of metered DeepSeek processing per UTC month during the trial.
These amounts are provider-service limits—not money, account credit, or a promised number of sessions—and they do not mean unlimited AI. They reset at 00:00 UTC on the first day of each month. Provider availability or the service-wide safety ceiling can pause AI sooner; local Pro continues.
Purchase boundary: Apple Pro unlocks the local features. Buying or restoring never creates a new provider profile; optional AI begins only after a separate explicit Connect choice and the current adult and China-processing disclosure. Provider availability is not guaranteed, and local Pro continues when AI is silent.
